A walk in the Park

It was a crisp sunny fall afternoon, we spent the morning caring for our pets and cleaning the house, and we wanted to go on a walk before our cousins fourth birthday party. We were ready to walk around noon so we set out and stopped for some fast food on the way to the park, tempuratur was around fifty five and there wasn't much of a breeze. We went on a four and a quarter mile long lollipop route around White Clay Creek starting at Chambers Rock and crossing the river at Wedgewood road and returning.

The path is crushed gravel and was reasonably dry even with the rain we have been having this fall, about ten meters of muddy track to pick through and no puddles to step into. The leaves are already starting to come down and another couple of good storms will strip off all the early color but many vibrant reds and oranges in the foliage. Fishermen were walking along the river and we were passed by bicyclists and runners but the path never got crowded.
